Ben Rains: I earned my undergraduate degree from Indiana University Bloomington in 2013. I worked in the Chicago Tribune’s digital advertising department for two years after graduation.
In Spring 2016, after a great deal of thoughtful consideration, I began the Masters in Journalism program at DePaul University. (Exp. graduation March 2018)
I am currently an editorial intern at Zacks.com, writing about the stock market, with my work appearing on Yahoo Finance, Nasdaq and other financial outlets. I also host a weekly podcast a Zacks about the business of sports. On top of that, I write about the intersection of sports and technology at SportTechie.com. The website has a partnership with Sports Illustrated.com, where I have been published over 30 times. I also currently freelance for CS Magazine and Men’s Book Chicago. My work has been published in DePaul’s 14 East Magazine.
